Paul Robbins is a 20-year veteran of sports photography. He has been behind the lens all his life and has worked commercially since 1985. His work for his agency Monde Photo appears regularly in national magazines and newspapers and can also be seen on billboards, promotional material, and websites.
As a former age-group competitor in triathlons, including full-distance races, Paul is interested in capturing the true beauty of the sport. By shadowing Craig Alexander for over a year, he aimed to capture the passion, craft, and plight of the professional athlete. The opportunity to work without boundaries, without a commercial brief, was a welcome chance to create an original, artistic showcase for the sport.
His other passions are his family, surfing, and bike riding; taking time to smell the roses; and enjoying South Sydney, where he lives with his wife and two children.
