Ron LeMaster has been coaching ski racers and teaching skiing since the early1970s, when he taught in the Aspen Ski School and then coached in the Aspen Ski Club. Since then he has coached in many programs and taught in many ski schools.
He has been a technical advisor to the U.S. Ski Team and a trainer for the Vail/Beaver Creek Ski School. He lectures regularly in the US, Canada and other parts of the skiing world.
Ron has published four books on skiing mechanics and technique, and many articles in the major United States ski magazines.
When he is not watching skiing, photographing skiing, writing about or talking about skiing, or skiing himself, Ron works in the physics department at the University of Colorado, in a research group that studies innovative ways of teaching physics.
