Samuele Marcora, PhD

Samuele Marcora, PhD is a clinical exercise physiologist and professor and director of research at the University of Kent. He holds a PhD in Clinical Exercise Physiology, an MSc in Human Performance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. Dr. Marcora’s field of research integrates exercise physiology, motivation psychology, and cognitive neuroscience. His research focuses on the effects of mental fatigue on endurance performance and brain training for endurance athletes. He is a motorcycle enthusiast.
