Tom Rodgers

Before turning his attention to coaching and competing in triathlon, Tom Rodgers trained astronauts for physiology experiments aboard the International Space Station at NASA using training systems and software that he developed to measure VO2 max, respiratory quotient, bone density, and muscle mass. Tom Rodgers is now a USAT certified coach and accomplished triathlete in spite of coming to the sport later in life. Rodgers qualified for the Ironman® World Championship in Kona, Hawaii with a time of 9:59 at age 40 after just two years in the sport. He is a top masters finisher at Ultraman Hawaii.
