Team politics: Chris Froome leads his teammate Bradley Wiggins at the end of stage 17, to Peyragudes in the Pyrenees. The dynamics between the pair added tension and drama to the final week of the 2012 race. On this, the final mountain stage, Froome appeared to be the stronger climber, as he had also been in the Alps. He was under team orders not to leave Wiggins, leaving the question hanging: Could he have won?
